Our Story

Our Journey So Far

Since 2018, Alquant has evolved from a quantitative asset manager to a complete platform, enabling financial professionals and institutions to develop, manage, and distribute investment strategies.
2018
Founded as a quantitative asset manager in Switzerland. Began delivering investment signals to potential investors, as raising capital proved challenging for a newcomer.

2020
Closed a financing round with a family office and launched the Prisma platform to make signals more accessible. Introduced our first Actively Managed Certificate (AMC) and surpassed USD 20 million in assets by year-end.
2021
Recognized as an EPFL startup, the first asset management company to receive this distinction. Expanded our technology infrastructure with advanced backtesting, simulations, and interactive tools for greater transparency and engagement.
2022
Obtained a FINMA license as an asset manager of collective assets. Nominated among the top five best fintechs at the Swiss Fintech Awards. In response to client demand, we began opening our infrastructure to other asset managers.
2023
Launched Finlens, our client-ready platform for automated factsheets, interactive dashboards, and modern reporting, alongside our Quant as a Service (QaaS) offering.

2024
Partnered with Leonteq to launch Quantitative Investment Strategies indices and an ETP family that tracks these indices, making our proprietary strategies investable (tickers: AQLS, AQUS, AQUST).

Serving more than 50 B2B clients who rely on us for outsourced quantitative research, asset management, or our Finlens solution.
